Update: The Next Gathering...

Human conversation is the most ancient and easiest way to cultivate the conditions for change - personal change, community and organizational change, planetary change. If we can sit together and talk about what's important to us, we begin to come alive. (...) Conversation, however, takes time. We need time to sit together, to listen, to worry and dream together. As this age of turmoil tears us apart, we need to reclaim time to be together. Otherwise, we cannot stop the fragmentation. - Meg Wheatley

So, here's to us creating space to be together, in conversation. Until the Quarantine at Ted's place is lifted, we'll have to be content with one of our fine local eateries. :-) See you at The Diner (Wellington/Richmond @ Western) at 6:30 pm. Reservation has been made under my name!

PAX,

This quote really confirms the importance of human contact. The age old tradition of breaking bread together and talking about anything and everything. This is a tradition which seems to have been lost in this rushed and fragmented world we live in. I read a great book called Refrigerator Rights which theorizes that the loss of intimate connections has lead to the epidemic of malaise, depression and anxiety in the western world. I look forward to discussing the theory will all of you.
